Mood: the feeling of the reader 

Diction: the words an author uses

Syntax: how the author puts the words together 

Stupid: dumb or lack of intelligence 

Adumbrate: to outline

Apotheosis: the perfect for or example of something 

Ascetic: someone who practice self-discipline  

Bauble: a small trinket of little value 

Beguile: to deceive by guile or charm

Burgeon: to grow or develop 

Complement: a word phrase that is necessary to complete the meaning of a given expression 

Contumacious: a stubborn person who refuses to obey rules 

Curmudgeon: a cranky, ill tempered individual 

Didactic: a lesson
